Beef follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho (Steven Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Ali Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic & deeply moving series which premiered at SXSW & is brought to you by Netflix.
MilkTea hosted a very special free preview of the first two episodes from this landmark series featuring diverse East & Southeast Asian talent on & off screen for our audiences at the Vue Piccadilly on the 5 April at 19:00. As part of the screening our audiences took party in a post screening rage party where we invited them to release their frustrations on a golden cow piñata filled with beef jerky!
