To celebrate this year's ESEA Heritage Month, the BEING UK team at Warner Brothers Distribution have offered us both an iconic movie and their incredible screening room to host a very special community event.
Bringing together a myriad of UK-based ESEA organisations, we will open with a screening of CONSTANTINE (2005), starring none other than Keanu Reeves as supernatural exorcist and demonologist John Constantine. In the movie, Constantine must abandon his reclusive tendency and self-serving habits in order to help a policewoman prove her sister's death was not a suicide, but something more.
Following our screening, and in keeping with the theme of this year's Heritage Month – Changing Seasons – we will host a panel discussion about all things ESEA community, organising, creativity, and the intersections of all three.
With a mind to the events of the last year and beyond, we hope to foster a space within which various community groups can come together to share and discuss the knowledge and insights they have acquired from the work they do.
The event will take place on the evening of Monday, September 23rd and is by invitation only.
